The Saint’s Marginalia is an ongoing project designed to provide annotations to classical essays, memoirs, and other works of creative nonfiction that are in the public domain. The “Saint” in our name may refer to St. Augustine, whose
Confessions remain an important early nonfiction work, or it may refer to the fact that our editor and web designer—William Bradley and Christian Exoo—are both graduates of St. Lawrence University, where they met each other in a creative nonfiction class way back in 1999.
We’ll be adding new content as frequently as time allows. If you’d be interested in helping out by annotating a favorite classical nonfiction work, drop our Editor-in-Chief an email at bradley[AT]thesaintsmarginalia.com. And if you have anything to add to any work we have already annotated, please be sure to leave a comment.
